INTRODUCTION
The most important technological event on minerals processing and extractive metallurgy held every two years. It gathers foreign and local professionals to make possible the transfer of technology for the mining and metallurgical sector in Peru.
The main topic for 2010 event will be related to the role played by innovation in the minerals treatment and metal production.
Authors from different publications and countries will present their lectures and discuss methodological aspects of innovation.
OBJECTIVE
-
To provide the mechanisms for processes and operations optimization used in mineral treatment and metal production.
-
To offer the participants the recent technological innovations applied to mineral processing and extractive metallurgy.
TOPICS
- Hydrometallurgical processes
- Alternatives to traditional mineral processing
- Advances in mineral grinding
- The mineral processing and its sustainability
- The state of the art of ore flotation
- Future Technologies
- New processes for obtaining sulfuric acid
- Water treatment
ADDRESSED TO
- Mining and metallurgic managers and superintendents.
- Metallurgical, chemical, mining, and environmental engineers.
- Postgraduate students in areas as metallurgy, chemistry and chemical or metallurgical engineering.
