Introduction

The breakthroughs in information technology represent a substantial element for enterprises to excel in a competitive world. However, aside the considerations of implementing these technologies it must be added the security risks involved. Therefore, the development of these technologies brings new challenges regarding security.

The II International Symposium on Network and Data Communications aims to show new developments on Information Technologies and the considerations that must be taken into account in order to implement them within an environment that provides all the necessary security.
